Growing
Growing GMO Cookies: flowering time, yield and breeder specs
Leafly gives GMO Cookies a flowering time of 8–9 weeks; seed versions run from about 61 days (Mamiko Seeds, per SeedFinder) to 75–80 days (Barney’s Farm’s GMO), and High Times advised taking it down at around 70 to 74 days.1,2,3,4 Sources disagree sharply on difficulty, from easy (Zamnesia) to hard (Leafly).1,5

What the plant is like
Expect chunky, resinous flowers. Weedmaps describes buds that grow long and chunky rather than perfectly round, green to purple, with orange pistils and a thick coat of trichomes; Leafly describes light green, spade-shaped buds dusted with white trichomes, and GreenState olive green buds drenched in trichomes.1,11,12 High Times wrote in 2017 that it yields heavy, tests high, gives great returns on hash and has strong bud structure.4 Its finder named it partly for how oddly it grew, Leafly reports.13
What to watch for
Difficulty is the disputed part: Leafly rates it hard, Prime Cuts Nursery moderate to difficult, Weedmaps moderately difficult, Dr. Blaze intermediate and Zamnesia easy, and GreenState found one source calling it very difficult and another somewhat easy.1,5,9,10,11,12 Timing is the other variable, since versions sold under the names finish anywhere from about 61 to 80 days.2,3 And expect a strong smell in the grow room: Prime Cuts describes an immediate, room-filling hit of garlic and diesel.10
Seeds and the law in the US
Under the amended federal definition of hemp, viable seeds from cannabis plants above 0.3% total THC, including THCA, are not hemp.14 Congress delayed that exclusion, with most of the new definition, from Nov 12 to Dec 11, 2026; only the exclusion of products with cannabinoids the plant cannot produce naturally starts on Nov 12.15 Home cultivation rules are set by each state. This site does not sell seeds.
